Home Inspection

Coronavirus Has Created a Buyer’s Market. Buy Now to Save Big.

In light of current events, you might be wondering if it is possible to buy or sell a home right now. Simply put, the answer is YES! With the help of United Property Inspectors, Inc., you can get a great deal on your dream home.

A Buyer’s Market

While the coronavirus pandemic has driven many buyers out of the market, committed buyers and sellers are benefiting from the current situation. Before the outbreak, there was a housing shortage and prices were high. Now, only the most committed buyers are house hunting, and they are finding great deals and low interest rates. This means buyers can score big, and sellers don’t have to deal with annoying lowball offers and endless house tours.

Virtual Showings

Social distancing and stay-at-home orders are still in place throughout California, but that doesn’t mean you can’t view potential homes. Virtual showings have become the norm for most realtors along with virtual buyer and seller consultations, home inspections, and closings. Some counties (including Placer County) also permit in-person showings if certain protocol is followed, including:

  • Showings by appointment only
  • No more than two visitors at a time who reside in the same household
  • Only one realtor may be present for the showing
  • The unit must be vacant OR the occupant must provide express written consent for the showing
  • No surfaces may be touched during the showing, aside from walking
  • Hand sanitizing at the door
  • Wearing shoe covers and masks

Home Inspections

At United Property Inspectors, our customers’ safety and satisfaction remain our top priorities. As such, we clean our equipment and wear a new mask during each home inspection. Additionally, we are still offering walk-through inspections where permitted, and we are vigilant about maintaining a six-foot distance between inspectors and clients. Furthermore, if you are unable to meet with our inspectors, we encourage you to schedule a call with the inspector to go over the findings.

Schedule an Inspection

For residents in Sacramento, Rocklin, Roseville, and the nearby areas, now is the time to strike a deal on a new home. The home inspectors at United Property Inspectors will provide you with a clear picture of the property’s condition and answer all of your questions so you can feel confident about your purchase.
